Vino for the Ladies?

Everyone has the days: the days where you would sooner shoot yourself up with heroin & corn starch than live where you live (slow down Lindsay Lohan... this post ain't to you). The days like I've had recently where it's been raining and dreary and I kind of want to make like a tree and... leave gettt ouutttttaaa herrreee. (<==if u want 28 seconds of joy, click that)

And then there's the days when that all changes: when the breeze carries with it an amazing aroma of wildflowers, when the sun shines through the beautiful green trees (only so green because of our fondness for rain) AND ...when you get a party bus on a hot day to go wine tasting in Oregon Wine Country for your beautiful friend's Bachelorette party (See? All it takes is a mere $3,000 dollar day to lift my spirits).

Yes friends, I'm back in love with Oregon and I don't care who knows it. Last Saturday, as mentioned, my friends and I boarded a Limousine bus for a day of touring and tasting the local grapes in our fair state. Oregon wine country is spectacular, beautiful and amazing... but I can't really tell you so much as SHOW you.

{Our ride for the day. Not too shabby.}

{Different scents/tastes in Wine displayed in their original way: coconut, oak, etc.}

{Bride-to-be on her Party Bus}

{All us girls}

{Heaven}

{Me amongst the gorgeous Oregon Wine Country}

{Yuki, Carly and Me}

{Bride in Red and the girls (no, I'm not in this)}

{And the amazing flowers...}

{Back downtown from Wine Tasting and happy as a clam}

Anyway, it was a grand day and I am so excited that it's blazing hot and all I want to do is sit on an inner-tube on a lake enjoying a Popsicle... I think of this as I stare at a cubicle and listen to the Receptionist repeat "JUST A MOMENT!".

Happy Thursday!

PS- yes the images are all mine with some color touch-ups. Friends don't let friends post straight from memory card to blog :) I like the vibrancy!

Oregon and Washington are puttin' out some INCREDIBLE wines these days. We're so lucky to live where we live! Hope you're enjoying the sunshine :-)

I love Oregon! I don't care if it rains because you guys have great skin, beautiful hair, talented hair stylists, wonderful warm personalities....and superb vino. Not to mention a lot of scenery that does not entail pure concrete.

Looks like you had a wonderful day with your friends!

ps - i saw the sun for 15 minutes today. things might be looking up.

Awwwww . . . there's nothing like wine country! I've never been to your Oregon wine country, but I live in San Francisco so mine's a mere 50 minute drive away. That looks like an amazing bachelorette party--I bet y'all had SO much fun!
