capturing the authentic life

Well my weekend blew by fast! I'm tired so tired in fact that I will not be discussing any of it right now because I will just get into some long-winded tale much like the person you try to avoid at dinner parties. I think it's best if I keep text minimal for this post. But alas... I got a new phone and thus was going through my old one today and discovered all these random pictures that I forget about. I love my regular camera but my camera phone is utilized when I simply want to remind myself of something to post about later or just a quick way to capture a moment. Either way, though the quality is always less than stellar- my camera phone captures more honest times of my life and gives a fun glimpse into the world as I had viewed it.

Here's a few that made me smile:

One of my fave work outfits. Whoever said brown and black don't go together is seriously mistaken.

my mid-day Starbuck's happy hour

View of my city taken during book club at a rooftop location

Playin' in a box with my dog. Best.

Enjoying art & lavender downtown during First Thursday

A make-up night I was very proud of- purple & black shadow? Don't mind if I do

a wholesome playdate with The Boy

My structured DKNY business suit jacket. Swoon.

Packing to camp

♥ the night the boy made us Cedar Plank Salmon- he's such a good cook (and mighty cute too)

♥enjoying the summer brew fests

♥ My Dad and Brother were outside doing yard work when the ice cream truck came by. They immediately stopped to get themselves a treat. love this- never too old for the ice cream truck

♥makeupless camping!

♥salon relaxing... ahhhhh :)

♥my sister's presents at her Bridal Shower

♥Loving my puppy dog after at stop at my dad's after work

♥Trip to the Oregon coast

♥My Sister on the night before her wedding. I adore this of her.

♥I moved to a window seat at work last week and had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the 2010 season- natch!

♥Moving day at my old apartment- very bittersweet.

♥I was out of town and The Boy picture messaged me him while he was out. Made me miss his sweet face and I love this little capture of him

I hope your Monday goes well! Mine will be so busy that I want to cry as I type this but somehow, I think I'll get by...wahhh!

I loved this post sooo much! I think the picture quality on your phone is a lot better than my iPhone! These photos are all so lovely, and can I just say I am extremely jealous of your tiny waistline and the fact that you look beautiful without make up?! The other day someone told me I looked "rough" in the morning and said it must be because I hadn't "got my face on." Er, rough?! How mean!! Haha. Anyway, you'll make it through Monday, don't worry! Sending you massive cyber hugs xx

A trip down the memory lane for you and a glimpse into your daily life for us, love this! Yay for the window seat at work - I seriously can't function properly behind a desk if there's no window right near!
