If you got the impression from my last post that all we did on our Hawaii trip was sit around, drink bevvies and lay-out until we couldn't ingest anymore calories... you would be a wrong. We definitely enjoyed our Booze Cruise and our ensuing night out but we allowed that to be our big night out. We also spent a lot of our time there drinking ice tea, coffee, walking and really, taking it all in.
{On top of Diamond Head 1/24/2011}
One of the main things we both wanted to do while we were there was hike Diamond Head. I thought it was a mountain but it's described as a "tuff cone", whatever, I'm not interested in that foreign description (sorry my beloved Ross Geller), it's like hiking a mini-mountain that just so happens to be really warm. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is going to Hawaii. It took about an hour to get up and it required going through a very dark tunnel and climbing basically a wall of stairs... but holy Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the VIEWS are to DIE for. And wouldn't you know it? I got some pictures of it.

Wearing sneakers always reminds me of the cute girls who rock them oh so well, I'm not one of them but I always appreciate a good pair of kicks on a pretty girl*.
*PS Miranda- I searched for a tennis shoe shot of you!! My fave kick girl.

I always buy sneakers with such good intentions, but never end up wearing them. But I think they look awesome on everyone else…maybe this post has inspired me to sport mine this weekend!?

Wow! those views are incredible!! and you look so cute, even dressed sporty!! lol isnt forgetting sarah marshall like the ultimate hawaii movie!? whenever i get the chance to go to hawaii - ima watch that movie to get myself souped! lol
I love it that you guys added some activities to your trip even though it was a short one! That's what I like doign also - the shorter the trip the more varied I seem to ahve it lol
