Red for Valentine's Day

Naturally, this day makes me think more and more about the color Red and I thought it would be the perfect time to showcase the Christmas gift I got from my Sister- this super adorable H&M ruffle trim red & black dress. I think the dress is fun enough on its own and doesn't need much enhancement so I coupled its embedded embellishments (peep-button back, duo-tone, black-trimmed ruffles) with my Betsey Johnson Leopard bag, Black Calvin Klein tights and Nine West shoes.
I love this dress and am always amazed at how well my Sister picks things out for me. Though I am wearing this at work, I can't wait to sport it on a merited Saturday night out on the town!
{My desk at work, where the magic happens. Poor dress, it deserves a night out!}

And oh, yeah- Valentine's Day. The Boy is in Mexico (poor guy) with his family so I don't get to see him (or likely hear from him) BUT I wold love to say HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to him. I can't believe how lucky I am to be with him- it's a relationship with oh-so-few fights, lots of laughs and non-stop email chains Monday-Friday that always have me laughing. And did I mention he's awesome and the most unjealous person evvver? Yup, I get to be friends with whomever I like because The Boy trusts me, and that my friends- is a relationship must.
I miss you! Happy Valentine's day!And to my family and dear friends- I couldn't love you anymore than I already do but you all knew that!

And to all of you Bloggers- I can truly say I LOVE our interactions and what your little words and your own blogs bring to my life- happy Valentine's Day to you!!!!!

look at you and that hot red/black dress!!! i know, the east coast me [aka the bf who is from the east coast, ha ha] and i also split the bill most of the time, and like you said, there are exceptions. we're both the non-jealous types so it makes it easier. my mantra is, i love my sleep, so if i'm going to lose sleep over someone else's whereabouts, then i shouldn't be with them! happy vday to you and your man.

Ha ha, Focker Out. You crack me up! You are too cute with your boy and that is so great that he is not the jealous type - you are so right about trust, it really is a must!! I hope you have a lovely V-Day, your dress is just too cute and I am loving the ruffles this season! Also, love the view out from your work window - gorgeous.

Happy Valentine's day to you too! Sorry to hear your boyfriend will be in Mexico. I sent someone a Valentine but haven't heard from her in over 7 months so will probably spend Valentines day alone (and will probably wear something new and red underneath to indulge myself). Actually the briefs I'm wearing at the moment are the exact colour of the blouse you are wearing in the three photos at the bottom of this post.

I love the ruffles on the blouse portion of your H&M ruffle trim red and black dress and the pose looking back over your left shoulder.

By any chance did you watch the movie "Meet the Fockers"? (Is that what you meant by "focker out"? That was a funny movie.

I was up late and wanted to jot a few notes down to myself about the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards performances I watched earlier so I was at the computer when your last comment came in. Thank you!

Happy Valentine's Day again.

You look absolutely gorgeous in that dress! I love the way you've styled it (and as usual I am jealous of your tiny tiny waist!)

You and the Boy have such a great relationship and those pictures of you two are adorable! I hope he gets back soon so you can have a belated Valentine's day celebration :) xx

Sooo ive been thinking...
who takes all the fashion photos of you?
how do you get photos of you and the boy when it appears to just be the two of you?

Do you take them yourself with a timer? Do you ask strangers? Does the boy take them?

Im intrigued lol

:)

@Rinnez, I don't know if you'll read this but I can't get to you on you B anymore!!! I am a master of self-timing when I'm with my friend or the boy, I can always find a place to put the camera- which works out well when you go to Hawaii alone together!
