Fresh Air, Fresh Food, Fresh Season

{this girl eats. Saturday: June 4, 2011}

On sunny weekends... I will never cease to indulge in food and fresh air. Friday's seething temperatures and Sunday's musical Thunderstorm personally welcomed me to the Summer season.

Thank you Portland, for a magnificent and very blissful weekend.

First things first: I want that sandwich.

Love your fedora! So cute!

I would rather go nekkid than give up yummy food! ;)

I would have commented on your post earlier but I got an uncontrollable urge to eat something and stopped to do that first. I miss being able to eat corn on the cob, submarine sandwiches (melted cheese, lettuce and tomato with Italian dressing) and such (cheap Mexican dentures that I keep crazy-gluing back together). Instead I nuked a frozen Indian dinner (Palak Paneer) and gummed it down. You have beautiful teeth! Your sandwich looks like a bagel. I remember them being tough to chew. I like your hat and dress and the fashion magazine peeking out on the table.

The weather is beautiful here too but my back is still acting up after that beautiful job I did trimming the hedge and cutting the lawn Friday. Yes, summer and the thunderstorm season are coming. Most of us, with some exceptions, have been pretty lucky so far on the East Coast. Fingers crossed for July and for no more disastrous storms in tornado alley.
Enjoy your last couple of weeks of Spring and the Summer!

Omg, what I wouldn't give to be in Portland right now. We were there a couple summers ago and the weather was perfect, the beer was more delicious than in Phoenix and the vibe was amazing. I'd give my left arm to be at a festival drinking some brews with you this summer!!

how many times do I have to come and say I love YOU and Portland. So one of my faves. Did you ever tell me exactly where you live? I think I told you that I lived in Welches (about 10 mins from Sandy) when I worked at the ski mountain.
loved it.
