Teal, White and Blisters.

Two weekends ago, the boy and I went around and explored. Well, let me rephrase that lie: we woke up at his place very tired and super, duper lazy. We wanted food but had none to cook (see: tragedy) and had zero inhibition to head to the Grocer's to grab some to make. So we decided to get up and get some food in some obscure enclave of the City. Seeing how we slept at his place, he slipped on his clothes and I slipped on my dry cleaning as I had it at his place after picking it up alongside the fact that I didn't want to wear last night's clothes.
{We were definitely truly bickering here. June 5th, 2011}

As luck would have it, it turned out beautiful that day and we spent much more time outside than we had planned. So basically, the day ended up being him walking around in perfect boy casual... and me cursing the day my feet developed as I was stuck in this uncomfortable walking outfit (that made me look preggers)!

However, my uncomfortable 'fit reminded me of room decor. I'm really into Teal but haven't yet decided I want to go that bold in a room...

Tell me dear friends, do you like Teal and White in rooms???

Every time. You make me giggle every time I read your posts. ;)

I love that you didn't want to be all "walk of shame", so you just slipped on some dry cleaning. I wanna borrow that dress. BTW you do not look pregnant.

I love teal and white for a bedroom. I would love to redecorate ours. Plus, think how versatile teal and white is. You can throw in different pops of color depending on your mood: brown, black, red, yellow. The possibilities are endless!

I love that dress. It's so feminine and girly. I'd like to have one like that myself, but with puffy short sleeves. Sorry to hear your feet were uncomfortable and getting blisters, but you sure looked amazing in that outfit.

Yes, I like teal and white in rooms - it contrasts nicely with outfits in lots of feminine colours and I can't think of anything it really clashes with at the moment.

haha i love the contrast of your boyfriend's super casual outfit, but secretly adore the dressed up look of yours! and those pretty shoes!

i really like teal a lot in rooms too, it's just so vibrant and really makes a room pop. it's good as an accent though - think throw pillows, placemats, etc.

teal is one of my fave colors, but i love it with gray. i think it mutes the brightness of the teal. i love your shoes though i have no clue on how i can walk wearing it. so cute that he is so casual and you, well, always classy and sassy. :)

Found you through Megan @ A Suitcase and Stilettos and just stopping in to say hi.

I love those shoes! I love that you had dry cleaning to choose from though, that's something I would do.

Have a great day!

You may have seen some of the "White Hot" features popping up in some of the more fashion magazines as well. Your picture should definitely being among them. The white and teal make a lovely, lovely combination!!
Hope you have a great weekend. Thanks for sharing your instighful thoughts on the never ending friction and (fiction) battle between fashion journalists and bloggers :)

Hahaha I think it's so cute that someone snapped a pic of you guys bickering! That SO totally happens sometimes.

And yes, I'm in love with the white/teal combo. It's so pretty and elegant and beachy without being theme-y. Lovely!

P.S. Dear Caitlin's boy, it's time to give her a drawer at your place so she doesn't have to resort to clothes combinations that she's not happy with ;)

I LOVE your dress! I've always liked high hemmed chiffon dresses with empire waists.
I don't think it makes you look preggers,
but It I think wearing that dress would hide my midriff bulge nicely.
I want one!

Yes, the teal and white room would compliment my pink lingerie beautifully!
I wish I were getting photographed right now on that gorgeous
comfy looking bed with all the teal pillows and comforter.
