It's a Do: The Bandeau

Whether used for layering an otherwise exposing top or letting the piece rock all on its own for a daring night out, I'm really into bandeau tops lately. They're super chic, effortlessly versatile and create an abundance of opportunity when it comes to creating the perfect outfit.
On the Left: Bandeau Top by Free People. Worn for an outdoor BBQ on a vineyard under my Free People top and DIY necklace 7/3/2011

On the Right: Bandeau top from Nordstrom Rack. Worn to a hip-hop party with my H&M sequined trouser jacket and American Apparel high-waisted pencil skirt.

Bandeau Tops

Do you bandeau? And if so- is it a bra, a top, a layering piece... or are you simply a bandeau-loving starlet and utilize it for all of the above?

So cute! I *know* I need to buy one of these - saw the cutest leopard one on Sunday! I would wear it as a bra or layering piece These would be perfect to make a too low top more appropriate for work. I don't know that I would be courageous enough to wear just a bandeau as a top, but you look awesome!

i use them as a bra, as long as they have underwire support! LOL

I actually go commando. Mine are not big enough to wear a Battle Ready Armor (BRA).

Also, I'm a dude and I have to keep going to the gym in order to keep them stiff and in the right place.

I'm always amazed at how ladies remember where they buy their outfits/underwears.

Ooh I just love bandeaus! I normally wear them as bras peeking out from underneath something low-cut :)
