Little People, Big World, Weird Picture

Ever heard of "Little People, Big World" on TLC? Well they're an Oregon family. In fact, their farm is about 20 minutes due West of me and (As Seen On TV!), every Fall season they open it up to the public and you get to ride their train, visit their exotic animal zoo and meet-and-greet with the family. It's quite a lovely little time, no pun intended.

{Me in my tanning (2008) days and Jeremy Roloff}

When I was last there, I had met all of the Roloffs and was feeling pretty happy and excited because I did meet Jeremy and he's utterly A-DOR-A-BLE, even if he's much younger than me, pish-posh!

{my Sister and I and Zach, Jeremy's twin.}

Anywayyyy, as I was waiting to leave, I noted the bench by the exit where you could sit and get your picture taken "with the family" aka the borderline creepy/borderline fantastic row of cardboard cutouts behind me. As I sat on the bench and was obviously about to take a picture, this girl next to me wouldn't move. In an effort to get her to move, I clung to "hope" but when that ran out, I told my Sister to just go ahead and snap it. At that point, this girl next to me lifted her head, turned to me and deadpan states "Jeremy loves me".

{one of the weirder pictures I've ever taken}

I really wanted to laugh out loud but after gathering my composure and deciding that wasn't the best move, I coherently formulated what I wanted to say:

"OH H******LLL NAH *****, Jeremy be MINE!
[finger snap]"

You have no idea how jealous I am that you can go visit the Roloffs! I love their show. And how old did you say Jeremy is? I'm only 23...is that still too old??? LOL If not, maybe I'll make a little escapade to Oregon. lol!

That cardboard cutout of the family is freaking awesome....HAHA! I think it is awesome that you got to visit the Roloffs, they're really strong family and they've encountered so many challenges.

I visited the Roloff farm too! It was kind of weird....there was no security and anyone can just come onto the farm. I was a little worried for them, especially with that cray cray girl you mention.... There were a lot of stalkerish fans that came from all over just to go to the farm! We met people from Ohio and Minnesota that literally planned their family vacation to Hillsboro, Oregon just to to the farm. I just can't imagine!

This adventure of yours does sound and even looks a bit weird... lol When I was reading I somehow thought that girl on the couch had died right there and then or something. This would surely make it creepier and I'm not sure why this thought has crossed my mind... Dang, I guess this crazy week I just had makes me think crazy things (I mean, you wouldn't probably post this pic if this was the situation, right?) Anyway, I should sign off before I say anything else lol

Cracking up over here! Mostly because of that exceedingly awkward picture at the end--it's hilarious on so many levels. What a wacky experience!
