Battling Hues

As evidenced in the picture just below, I can't ever come to a conclusion.
[Above: My Brunette shot taken 11/26/2011, My Blonde taken 07/14/2011]
But the world wants us to choose- where do you fall?

Do brunettes do it better or do blondes just have more fun?

I have been brunette most of my life. I went blonde for about 5 months and i loved it, i acted like a different person. Blondes totally get away with more, tho people expect less of you. I love being brunette, but I've booked in to go start going blonde again. I love to change up my hair, and i think i'm getting to old for pink and blue lol
:)

honestly, i miss my blonde hair more than anything in the world. i was more confident with it and it suited my skin better i think. but i dont think that for everyone! i see many people who look better as a brunette.

my hair has an identity crisis just like yours, however.

Of course BRUNETTES do it better!
The closest to a blonde I ever got, was that Kim K blonde, when she went blonde after breaking up with Reggie. I did it when I was in HS still, had for five days. It wasn't cute on Kim, & it sure wasn't cute on me. I personally like your dark hair better...& Beyonce looks so much better with dark hair, well to me anyways.

I've been brunette my whole life, seeing as how I've never dyed my hair. However, I have a platinum blonde streak of hair in my bangs from a birthmark in my scalp. I like to think I'm a little bit of both--blonde and brunette. Brunette first and foremost though.

I have never dyed my hair. I have always been a brunette - though my hair, in person, has natural golden highlights, which give it a VERY light brown hue. Overall, I like dark hair; but you look gorg in both hues! :)

I've only been this color, but with highlights in the summer. I think blondes have all the fun.phooey.

As a natural brunette, I'm siding with my team. :)

My hue war is between brunette or red head! I switch it up about every 6 months. Red Heads get a lot of attention. I think you need to throw in a third party up there. hahaha

Oh gosh! I just love blonde hair. I would love to look like a Playboy bunny, but sadly, I look *awful* with blonde hair. :p

You're lucky though b/c you can work both looks!

I think they both look good and its fun when people change it up for the season!

I'm a brunette! i have only thought maybe once or twice of POSSIBLY going blonde... but never REALLY thought about it [though jose has mentioned he wouldnt mind]. I dont think I can pull it off... or maybe its cos i just cant picture it lol but i love being a brunette. I really think you get judged so easily as a blonde. Brunette's to me are much sexier. and i always love you brunette!

Ah its so hard to decide! I think you look really pretty with both colors which doesn't make it any easier. I have brown hair but sometimes I wonder what I would like like as a blonde.

I'm jealous of your ability to switch back and forth and pull off both colors! I have dark brown hair and blonde just would not look good on me!

Ashley said...

girl, you rock both colors VERY well! i'm so jealous!

when i was younger living in hawaii my hair was light blond, but as i got older it got darker :(

oh, how i'd love to try being a blond, but don't think i'd be a cute one :) lol

it's a tough decision! i love all the comparison pics... lol. i was blonde for 23 years and now i'm red/brunette.. i can't imagine going back (which is so weird to think!)

bahaha i love this! well, i'm a brunette so i'd say, we have more fun. but i'm also a woman, so i do highlights to balance everything out! :) i'm actually keeping my highlights during the winter for the first time in years, it's super high maintenance and expensive especially my hair is long, fine but thick. oh well.

I think they both have fun...just depends on the person and their outlook on life :)

Yes, it's been said that brunettes do it better, that blondes have more fun, and that life is change. Being the odd duck I'd opt for all four or more. I'm a both and neither kind of person. Maybe a little red and blue, Rihanna style, or wouldn't that go over so well at work? It would look pretty on you but you have a pretty conservative type of job. Maybe brunette with blonde highlights or blonde with ????? I did like the looks of Veronica Lake in the Archie comics.

I'm partial to dark hair... I have really dark hair, so anything lighter is very high-maintenance for me.
That said, I think you're one of ten people in the world that can truly pull off either. Maybe give the dark hair a little more time before switching back? :)

three cheers for brunettes!

although i had a moment of insanity today where i considered going bleached blonde!

you KNOW I love this post haha!!

As a tried and true brunette AND blondie, I would say.......gosh, I would say it doesn't matter the color, it matters the attitude of the girls that rocks the color ;)

I think it really depends on the woman in question. Angelina Jolie is not a blond but I think she has plenty of fun. : )

I'm definitely on the brunette side... But right now I'm a... redhead! Woohoo :) Just had my hair colored red (not ginger, but RED!) last month :) Lovin' it so far, I so longed for COLOR.
