Portland Walking ♥

Despite failing to attempt the Houndstooth dress again, this last weekend turned out to be just what I had planned: relaxation.
{Me at Anthropologie November 5th 2011}

My friend Juan and I watched an entire season of "Walking Dead" (and are now obsessed and ready to delve into Season II), I baked cookies, I went to my Step-Cousin's Bridal Shower, had a Tarot card reading... and I was in bed early every night.
After the lovely reminder that I can't party like I'm 20 like I got last weekend, it was a weekend of pure bliss.
Speaking of Bliss, on Saturday, The Boy and I took to the streets and braved the brisk, chilly air for a few hours of shopping (both the window and the buyers-remorse type).
The streets were full of people sporting a glimpse of their winter closet: leather gloves, furry hats and thick jackets.
In the name of staying warm, I happily obliged and donned my cold-weather apparel (right down to my socks which I wear almost every day..).
And in the spirit of being a guy, The Boy didn't think he needed a jacket and trotted around in his zip-up.
Silly Rabbit...
We stopped at stores such as Anthropologie (pictures above and below) and obsessed and drooled over their fashionable yet vintage-looking items.

We stopped at Deschutes Brewery and Public House for some fries and some brew... nummers, nummers.

It was just the kinda day I wanted (and needed!).

Ring: Forever 21
Boots: Jessica Simpson via Nordstrom
Earrings: Airport store in Chicago O'Hare
Tights: Simply Vera tights but ripped by me.
Socks: American Apparel
Jacket: Laundry by Shelli Segal
Sunnies: Nine West
Purse: a gift from my late Grandma Fran (always near my heart)

Enough about me, how was your weekend?

I had a crazy weekend! More crazy than usual actually...

I love when you post pictures of your little shopping sprees. They make me want to go do the same. Unfortunately there aren't too many places that pretty to shop in New York.

Love your boots!!!

This sounds like a perfect weekend after a very action filled one you had last week! I love to party a lot and then spend a few days chilling... That's perfection. And best enjoyed when on vacation lol

Love your coat! And yep, I was just going to say how your bf is not really dressed according to what you were describing people on the streets looked like that day, ha!

As for me... I have 4 blogs to attend to and I have a demanding job... I no longer have weekends lol

My weekend consist of me studying for a huge test today and watching 6 movies for the class. Your coat is amazing. Love it.

Relaxing is sometimes the perfect weekend. Looking at your hair here kinda makes me want to go dark again... I can feel it coming on soon, I think. You look great!

Not only do you look so cute in all your pictures -and, do you know you were near my utmost favorite Starbucks (that serves wine and beer)- but, I must confess ... after as long as I've been single, and as long as I've been without someone to share the day with (...way too long), your pictures make me wish for love. Not just any love though. You know. Anyway....! I'm glad you have someone to share PB&J's with. Doesn't get much better than that.

P.S. 11/11/11 ..... We shall be together on the day of all days to make wishes. AND ... it's going to be a full moon. Holy F*** - I'm without words actually.

That outfit is perfection! It looks super comfy too. Is there anything better than an outfit that allows you to both shop at amazing stores AND have a beer with your honey?
