If ever Portland had a Sister city, it would be Seattle, WA. No Oregonian can feel out of place roaming the emerald city. We're used to Starbucks, old book stores, rows of evergreens, eclectic art and dangerously good microbrews just like our buddies up North. Seattle in a way, always feels like just a hop, skip and a jump away from my own front door- the friendly next-door neighbor.
My trip last weekend included ogling the Space Needle, shopping at historic Pike Place Market, gathering for drinks and food at Peso's in Queen Anne and dancing the night away to celebrate my beautiful friend turning twenty-eight years old.
We ate (too much). We drank (too much). We took pictures (too many). We made dumb jokes (too frequently).

We basically grabbed 28 by the cojones and told it what's up.
{Happy Birthday my dear friend!}
Always a good time at the Neighbor's house.

fun fun fun! when i see or hear seattle i instantly think of the show greys anatomy... that show bascially sums up all my knowledge of the city (aka. all i know is that they have ferry boats). :) xx

I would love to visit Seattle. My husband went about a year ago and said it was very neat. You have some pictures very similar to ones he took. And what a beautiful group of friends!! I'm glad you had fun!
great photos! looks like you had a fabulous time. i have always wanted to go to seattle...one day...
never been but i hear it's a perfect place for foodies. HOLLA!!!!
ps. loving the aztec/southwestern style sweater you're rockin.
First of all, you are gorgeous!
Seattle looks like so much fun! I've always wanted to go there and Hubby's aunt lives somewhere near there...
i agree, and you would have to add vancouver, bc to that sisterhood list!
If ever Portland had a Sister city, it would be Seattle, WA.
Now I’m confused, when we visited Seattle, the Seattlens played up the rivalry with you Portlanders – more like North v South than Sisters are doing it for each other (sorry Annie for the misquote)...... I got the impression that the only sugar they would lend you would have been laced with rat poison....so it might be best have your Starbucks coffee unsweetened...
Glad you had a good time....
i can see you had so much fun there!!! beautiful ladies :)
take care. greetings from italy.

I need that southwestern sweater you are rocking! SO cute! Looks like you had a FAB time, as usual! I like Seattle...in the Summer. Haha
im really dying to get back to seattle. i had only been there once, and it was AFTER visiting portland...and i kind of fell in love with portland, so i felt like seattle was a bigger city (not sure if it is or not) with less charm...but similar nonetheless!
great photos :) and hope you had a great time!
your eye make-up!! love it.
Seattle is sooo beautiful. We went there a few years ago and I was in love with everything there - the coffee, weather, food, scenery - soo so gorg.
Looks like you made the best of your trip! Obsessed with your tribal sweater ;)
