How Stella Got Her Groove Back

Do you remember in the first "Sex & the City" movie when Carrie attends the Fashion Show at the end of winter with the girls? After spending the months prior basically hibernating in her apartment after being jilted by Big, she noted at the fashion show that she "wasn't sure why, but for the first time, in a long time. I felt like myself again."

Well, no one dumped me on my wedding day and I didn't get in a fight with my would-be Groom in the middle of the street while wearing a hideous bird feather on my head, but like Carrie, I have not felt like myself for the past few months. Something has just been off and lately, I've been taking enormous steps to shake the feeling.

So I don't know if it was because the weather was wonderful or because I finally feel a bit settled in our place but for whatever reason this last weekend, for the first time, in a long time, I felt like myself again.

 {^Roomies}

{^The Boy and his Brother visiting from San Francisco}

{^All the men- including my Reggie on the wall}

{^a dark bar and a cool drink}

{^And here's Jordan- lover of life in every way}

 {^Can't a girl get a lemon wedge in her water anymore?}

{^Smooch}

{^On the east side of town. Over the rivahhhh and through the woods- to hipster land we go.}

{^my goofy friend Juan, entertaining people he just met- pretty much how he rolls. God Bless him.}

{^He hates this picture, which makes me more inclined to post it more places.}
And guess what I was wearing? Think hard...

I know what you mean when you talk about losing yourself. I think we get so wrapped up in what we HAVE to do that we just kind of ... get lost. It's nice when we can reconnect with ourselves, though.

Glad to here you got your groove back! I know what that feels like sometimes. If I work too much, I just end up staying home and being lazy. You looks so pretty though, love your top and make up<3 I also have a serious addiction to SATC, Whenever I feel like shit, I watch it and feel better.
