Keep Calm & Move On

Rihanna is a powerhouse... If I ever have half as much talent, clout, style, confidence and general bad-assness as her, please feel free to send me flowers because that would mean I've reached my life's peak and need to celebrate while it lasts. She's banging.

If, on the other hand, I have a huge opportunity to send a message against men beating women and rather, I become very public BFFs and business collaborators with the man who attacked me (lest you not forget, police report here), please feel free to punch me in the face. Perhaps that will remind me of exactly why I need to stand up for myself and walk away.

Come back to the good side, Rihanna. Kick him to the curb and save all your prodigiousness for a real man.

Sound Off: What do you think of all this Rihanna/Chris Brown news?

if she can find a way to forgive him and closure to all this, kudos to her. however, if she gets back with him, then that's another story. i hope she learns from her mistake and keep it kosher.

Love Rihanna, never liked Chris Brown...After the attack, hated him. If she forgives him, that's her, I am not the one to judge. I just hope they don't get back together. I don't think they will. & the song is stupid.

PS: The package will be mailed tomorrow!!

Agree that forgiving him is one thing, and completely her business, but collaborating with him and getting back together? Nope.

This whole situation makes me SO angry. I agree with you! She can forgive but why go to extremes and collaborate? Why associate herself with him at all? She is a role model and is not sending a good message to her fans or girls everywhere. It honestly makes me sick.

Glad someone brought it up to discuss!

I have mixed feelings on it. On the one hand he was her first love and so hard to get over, she obvs still has a lot of love for him so I feel sorry for her

On the other hand, what the hell is she thinking? Violent men don't just stop being violent, and she will end up getting hurt again at some point. Also, as much as it's a pain for her to admit it.. as a very public figure she has a responsibility to all of her little girl fans, and this is setting a verrry bad example! x

I love Rihanna!! I've always said Britney was the queen and Rihanna is the princess! lol She's hot, talented, and looks like a lot of fun!

As far as becoming public friends with a woman beater. I'm very disappointed. I tweeted about this last week and someone responded with my favorite line "Forgive quickly and kiss slowly." Ok, I can forgive you from beating me and move on, but I'll NEVER forget. I can forgive someone and still be smart enough to stay away. Sigh...

Rihanna is such a gorgeous and talented person. I think she has to do what she has to do. If she wants to go back with someone who she had a violent altercation with, it's her choice.

That said, I think it sends a bad message to females who may find themselves in similar situations; but again, it's her choice. :/

I personally think she is a moron. First off she's going to ruin her career because she wants to get back with a guy who beat her. I think its because he has someone else. I understand that she forgave him but doing songs with him is crossing the line. I also don't think she's that great of a singer. Its all the computers they use for her music. That's all I have to say about that.

It is her life and she is the one to live with the situation whatever it is. Me, I wouldn't do it.

I liked Rihanna until she went all crazy and psycho. Now I can't stand her. She's still hot, though.

I don't understand why she would take him back... My mom always told me that if a man ever raises his hand and hits you, you leave him immediately. Never ever accept his apology, once a beater always a beater.

So they are for sure together? I am behind. I find the whole thing so...well, shocking.

NOT A FAN OF CHRIS BROWN. not a fan of a man that will hit a woman. not not really a fan of a woman that will knowingly be with a dickhead like chris brown.

Sigh. This is a hot button issue for me. A lot of commenters have said "it's her life", and that's true, but it still upsets me that she is flaunting their togetherness in the media by doing a song together! It's like a big middle finger to women who have looked up to her for leaving her abuser.

Which is just not cool.
