Disney Princesses do Hipster

I will never tire of seeing the beloved Disney Princesses depicted outside of their familiar landscapes. Not only is it patently amusing and fun, it's also thought-provoking and judicious. If raised on the outskirts of their ocean mansions, tallest tower bedrooms and beastly castles of yesteryear: who would/could/should these girls have been?

Well, if you ask the artist linked below: they could have been Hipsters:

So which strikes your fancy?

For another neat depiction of the Disney Princesses- check out this post I did. I love this artist's vision.

I LOVE these SO MUCH. I am totally drawn to Anastasia and Aurora. But I have no clue who Anastasia is or what story she was in. Haha. Hipster princesses is so funny! I love seeing the different styles depicted. It is a great way to document history.

Very cool.. Though I don't k ow how Anastasia stuck in there.. She isn't a Disney princess although WB did try to market her movie to that exact demographic and it seems all but true Disneyphiles assume she is one!

My favorite Disney character has always been Ariel. Then comes Belle and Jasmine. I'm going to stick with Ariel. Just b/c she's more in style, don't mean she lost her spunk ;) LOL Love this post!!

I'm really digging Jasmine's outfit. It's either because she was always my favorite, or because I can only wish to pull off leggings and a flowy, sheer top. Either way, I love all the different Disney princess looks you've shown on here! :)
