All it took was 5 minutes laying on my couch after work tonight to know that the gym was not in my future: I was exhausted, the house was quiet and (drumroll please)- it was cold outside! I have been waiting for the Autumn air to fall (ba-dum-ching!) and it did tonight a little, it did, it did! So instead of Nikes (or Rollerblades); I turned off the lights, lit some candles all over my apartment and began cooking a homemade meal of baked macaroni & cheese, marinated chicken and salad. I felt super cozy and so appreciative of all that is Fall.
Which made it the perfect time to post about Summer... (not really but I'm way behind on my pictures this year sooo...).
In July, The Boy and I headed 4 hours South to Ashland, Oregon to bask in the glory of his hometown. I've known of Ashland my entire life and have visited once or twice... but, it's been a distinct pleasure dating someone who is FROM there. Because it gives me good reason to drive down the entirety of the state (Portland is 5 minutes South of Washington, Ashland is about 20 minutes North of California) and partake in its sheer beauty:
I honestly, I think one of the main reasons I like visiting is that I get to immerse myself in some of my favorite activities: long walks, outdoor exploring, wine tasting, family dynamics and taking pictures. Not to mention some of the nicest people you'll meet. I swoon.

Happy Thursday my dears.
