To Mexico, To Italy - I go.

Next month is going to officially be something I've never experienced in my adult life: I will be going to Cabo for a wedding at the beginning of June with all of my college friends... and 2 days after my arrival back; I will be boarding a plane to Italy with my Mom to visit my Brother who is currently studying abroad over there. I obviously would never have planned to go to both places in such a short time period but circumstances with the wedding + my Brother's school curriculum made it impossible to change...
so C'est la Vie. I can't pass up my first trip over to my Italian motherland.

Though I'm nervous about the fact that I will be so much fatter and carrying a much lighter wallet once I touch back down on American soil, I'm really, really excited for the adventures ahead! I don't know too many times in my life that I'll be on (2) different continents and (3) different countries within mere days of each other.

In the meantime, the world's worst packer (ME!) is trying not to think about how in the h*ll I will pull all of this off. At least I can seek comfort in knowing that my Passport picture looks like Javier Bardem in "No Country For Old Men"... in drag.
You can see it, can't you??

Cheers to the thoughts of margaritas, red wine, tacos, pasta, oceans & vineyards carrying me through the next few weeks of responsibility...

WOW aren't you just the jet setter! Nice, I still hope to get to Paris at some point. Was going to go to Seattle to visit friends but the airfare is ridiculous!

WOW! GO YOU! I am so excited for you - both Mexico & Italy! That's amazing! You'll love Italy, it's so beautiful. I had such an amazing experience when I backpacked around it, makes me miss it to even think bout it!
The challenge will be packing, I'd almost say for you to get two packing sets ready so you can just switch it out quickly once your home and focus on doing your laundry from Mexico. Then even if you want to add your Mexico items you wont have to worry about the rest.
Love the javier bardem reference, seriously laughed out loud over that - you're just hilarious!

I love the floral lace top you're wearing with the stripes skirt in the center photo of the Mexico to Italy collage. the photos I've seen from Cabo San Lucas at the water's edge look beautiful. I hope you have a wonderful time at the wedding and reception. Where in Italy? I'm sure you'll love the sights and the food there in addition to seeing your brother. I love your sense of humour but there's no way even the worst possible passport photo of you could look anything like Javier Bardem. Enjoy both of your excursions!

you are SO LUCKY to be going to TWO fabulous vacations SOON!!!! so fun! so fabulous!

packing drives me crazy. i went to vegas for 2.5 days recently and packed NINE OUTFITS. lol!!!!

2 friends of mine (a couple) are going to paris for 5 weeks. they each plan to bring ONE CARRY ON. that is it. OMFG! how do people DO that?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!? even if laundry facilities are available, i couldn't even fit my shoes and makeup in a carry on!!!!!!

anyway! i hope you have the best time ever!!!!

You lucky, LUCKY lady!!!!! Though I know the stress of making sure all loose ends are tied up in order to take that much time off is ridiculous, I am still SO happy for you!!! I can not WAIT to hear about and see all your pictures of Italy! Wishing you safe travels!
