Little Things Lately ...

Wearing// Bright colors, wedge sandals & mismatched stud earrings because my jewelry organization needs some fine-tuning …

Watching//Life Partners” on Netflix which was surprisingly hilarious. I definitely recommend even though the cover and plot looks pretty dumb – it was awesome.

Excited to// Run a charity race early Saturday morning with my dog! Man, I love that boy. He will take the edge off my total lack of excitement about running ever.

Feeling// A cool breeze swarming in from the back patio and the coziness of being under a blanket while it encircles me.

Listening to// The Twilight Eclipse Soundtrack at work. Say what you want but that is one of my favorite “CDs”. Most notably – “All Yours” by Metric.

Looking at// Furniture online and framing ideas in anticipation of moving this summer.

Attended// A work function on Wednesday night that my Dad was also at. Super funny to be in his professional realm.

Wanting// A change in ‘casual Friday’ rules. Jeans days do little for me, especially in the summer. But “Yoga Pants And Flip Flops Day” … I’d eat that up.

Reading// I haven’t been reading much of anything this week to be honest unless you count BuzzFeed articles.
Drinking// A Kale & Berry Smoothie with Chia Seeds. Yum.

Eating// Warm Rolled Oats and honey lately. So simple. So dang good.

Loving// That Obama is in Portland today. Since his hotel is adjacent, they cordoned off the area around my office. Thus, I get to spend this Friday working from home with a cute dog at my feet and lots of sun flooding in. Not a bad way to end a week.

PS Thank you for the emails regarding yesterday’s post. I really appreciate! Excited to delve into that this weekend.

What's up with you today?

Perfect day to work from home. I'd also take a yoga pants and flip flops day! We don't even do jeans in my office.

I added Life Partners to my Netflix list. It joins a billion other things I might get to eventually.

Happy weekend! Have fun at the 5k!

haha who says politicians aren't good for anything? Enjoy running away with the pup by your side. Don't even think a dog could get me to run, walk yes, run no lol

While I'm not a fan of the Twilight books/movies the one thing I will adamantly argue is that they brought back movie soundtracks to popularity because they were SO good and full of amazing music.

@Kati- and I am a fan of the movies (even though I get why they are made fun of so much!) but putting that aside, the music was always really good and totally diff from the cheesiness of the films.
