^The collage wall right now. No use changing it until we move soon.
When I moved into my first studio apartment downtown (seen here) and lived all by my lonesome, I came up with a version of this collage wall myself (the 2011 version + Reggie The Horse's intro HERE), and was nothing short of excited about it, really. I think I sent my brother like 50 picture messages of the wall the day I finished and he finally replied with: "I GET IT." I was just so proud!
However, like most things, my taste has changed a little bit and I'm looking forward to tweaking this entire collage wall once we move into a new place (sometime in the coming months). I want larger mattings on the frames, more personal photos and something a bit more streamlined. Though I am still keeping Reggie, of course! I love his stoic little face.
So in the meantime, I'm off on a collage wall inspiration bender, in an effort to find where I can get huge mats for small photos and muted-tone frames for an all-around more cohesive look that says "HEY WORLD! I'M A GROWN-UP!"
Wish me luck with that, especially the part about being seen as a grown-up.

Good luck!
I love my gallery wall. I just throw things up there willy nilly though.
I love the collage wall and I totally agree with you keeping Reggie!! Where are you moving too?!
Have to keep reggie, the last collage wall I saw was a guy that had like 12 of those electric singing fish lol should put one of those up there, I'm sure the pup would love to eat it.
Reggie is fabulous. good luck with the new wall!
I love how you have everything right now and I'm sure in the next space it's going to be even better! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
Nice! I made a black & white one last year for my hallway. You can check it out here for possible inspiration: http://www.martinisbikinisblog.com/2014/02/home-decorating-photo-gallery-wall.html
I ended up making my own mats for my gallery wall frames because I got most of them at a second-hand store. I just got some white cardboard, cut it to size, and cut a square/rectangle in the middle. Super simple. Good luck with the adult thing! I need it too haha
Good luck! Looking forward to seeing your finished product :)
Can't wait to see what you do. I LOVE Reggie!
I feel you!! I just took all the art off our walls in preparation to move and I'm thinking a bunch of it is going to stay in storage. Tastes change - especially for us since we'll finally be in our OWN HOUSE!
