Game of New Thrones

In just a short amount of time, we have agreed to throw some money at upgrading our internal surroundings. I'm sick of so much about our decor and layout, and I'm ready for an update - we just have way too much stuff without a cohesive flow between anything. And now that Chandler is out of his puppy phase, we can have nice things again. Meaning, I won't go through the horror of finding a yellow circle in the middle of a rug or a chewed-up corner of a table (however, I will forever keep flip-flops up and out of reach. I find that dogs of all kinds have trouble differentiating them from their own toys). And what is it about home decor that makes you just want to stalk examples of it all over the internets while you wait to have room to purchase.
(^and okay, maybe some casual outfits too)

So if the next few weeks could just get here, that would be pretty nice. Ready to be out with the old stuff and in with the new! Which seemingly will end up being a lot of metallics.

Happy Wednesssssday!

New decor is the best feeling!!! It's something i always said that I would do when I own a house...but pretty things always sneak their way in. ;)

I hit up HomeGoods a few times a year to change things up. I also move things around within the house just so it looks fresh. I change furniture out less often but it has been known to happen.

Love where you're going with these ideas! Can't wait to see pics!

Most of my home decor lately revolves around my cat and my weakness to buying her new toys, even if she doesn't play with them. Also, she has trouble differentiating between my legs and the scratching post I have for her. Which by they way, is utterly destroyed and my legs are starting to become the next best thing.

My apartment is carpeted and I think i'm due for another upgrade that doesn't involve cat toys or books.

...And howdy ma'am, i hope you are doing good. :)

Love what you're going for with the geometric and metallic. I like to go to Homegoods/Target every few months and buy some little things to make the house feel fresh.
